About Us » Administrative TeamRon Berti began as General Manager in May of 1993, when the organization had 2.5 staff and an average of 16 weeks of programming annually. Today under his stewardship as Executive Director of De-ba-jeh-mu-jig Theatre Group and the National Aboriginal Arts Animator Program, the company has 16 full-time staff, a dozen students, and an annual average of 76 weeks of programming. Throughout all these changes, Audrey (Debassige) Wemigwans continues to provide a solid anchor in both the company’s history - through the many relationships built as Tour Coordinator - and in the daily life of the community as Community Cultural Liaison Equally important to its growth and sustainability has been the leadership in Outreach and Education by its director Joahnna Berti, who is now in her 11th year in this role with the company, and the experience and business acumen of Finance Manager Sharlene MacDonald, previously a Board Member and with 20 years experience in the commercial banking sector. |
