The admission process from this point on will be customized to address your specific situation/location. Also express your aspirations for your own future as a professional artist. This can be written, audio, video, or any other form of communication and representation that you choose. Applications are received throughout the year, and students who have been accepted will be notified of the next available opening for enrollment. School YearThe school year is 48 weeks in duration, with two weeks holiday at Christmas/New Years and two weeks holiday at the end of August. Hours of engagement are generally 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, although evening and weekend sessions are also common. EvaluationGrades and report cards are not used at the NAAAP. Student evaluation is ongoing and conducted in collaboration with full-time teaching staff, guest trainers, and directors. Students who have met all of the requirements of their program of study will receive a certificate from the National Aboriginal Arts Animator Program. Tuition FeesFor Canadian citizens and permanent residents, the tuition fees are $2,750.00 per year. For non-Canadian citizens, the tuition fees are $5,500.00 Canadian per year. Financial AidThe staff at the school will assist prospective Canadian students in pursuing financial aid to help offset their daily living expenses and accommodation expense while enrolled. In certain circumstances, assistance may also be sought to cover the cost of tuition fees so that no student is turned away due to lack of financial resources. AccommodationMost students are accommodated in semi-private apartments in private homes. These arrangements can be made by the school staff on behalf of the student. The average cost for accommodation throughout the year is $10/night. |
