Home » General Announcements & UpcomingDebajehmujig staff and students were proud to host a national gathering for the membership of the Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance. For three days Aboriginal dance, theatre and training organizations and individual artists came together to collectively vision the future of our sector and to determine the role that IPAA will play in vitalizing our artistic community. In addition to the outcomes of the ‘think tank’ sessions, it was wonderful to converge in our new facility and to feel it buzzing with the dreams and challenges of artists and colleagues from across Canada. Congratulations to our National Aboriginal Arts Animator Program graduating student interns Tabitha Peltier and Jessica Wilde, who have completed their third year invitation to the repertory company, and are now both full time arts animators with Debajehmujig. We are truly proud of both of you! We would also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest student interns of the NAAAP program: Jeffery Barnhardt, Travis Peltier, and M J Eshkawkogan |
