The GulchApril/ May 2007 - Research & Development
A core team of artists are researching, developing, writing, experimenting and exploring concepts for a new work entitled The Gulch to open this summer on our main-stage at the Holy Cross Mission Ruins in Wikwemikong. Have you ever felt like you were caught in between two different realities, two worlds, two sides, two factions – not fully belonging to one or the other? Some people live in this in between place. It is called The Gulch. Core early phase creation/writing team includes Joe Osawabine, Elisha Sidlar, John Turner, Bruce Naokwegijig, Tabitha Peltier, Matthew Manitowabi, Joahnna Berti, Joshua Peltier, Ron Berti, Bill Shawanda and others. A wonderful clown coming out party was held at the South Bay Centre, under the gentle guidance of professional Clown Trainer John Turner of Evansville, and an audience of loved ones. Congratulations to the Animators who took part, the NAAAP students who completed the training successfully, and to the one brave administrative staff member who bravely went where no admin person should have to go! |
