About Us » SupportersThe professional theatre activities of De-ba-jeh-mu-jig Theatre Group are generously supported by Operating Grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. The National Aboriginal Arts Animator Program is supported by an Operating Grant from the National Arts Training Contribution Program of The Department of Canadian Heritage. Outreach and Education programs, special projects, special initiatives and student services are supported variously by The Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, FedNor Industry Canada, Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, The Laidlaw Foundation, The George Cedric Metcalf Foundation, and numerous other private foundations and corporations on an occasional basis. NAAAP also relies on the participation of various local delivery mechanisms and provincial territorial organizations, skills and training agencies across Canada, and earned revenue from its own activities. Of equal importance is the contribution of collaborating organizations and partners at all levels and in many sectors. These include but are not limited to Native and Inuit programs across the country in the fields of skills training, employment, education, health and social services, children and youth, economic development, justice, culture, language, new technologies, administration, and the arts.
